The homeowner lives along the tidal estuary of the Myaka river in Charlotte County. He had severe escarpment issues in several areas that required creative solutions based on his particular wishes. Including no Rip-Rap and plant material that would not obstruct his views. Taking our cue from mother nature on the site, we identified areas of no erosion that held large, healthy stands of native seashore paspalum that the local manatees enjoyed foraging upon. Ultimately we installed a shell base with combinations of seashore paspalum plugs and sod. It has resulted as the ideal solution for this client, using natural and native materials that compliment his biologically diverse backyard and ecosystem.
“Great job with our rip rap! I needed a little replenishing of rock on the bank of our canal but Seabreeze exceeded our expectations. I feel like our backyard has been transformed. It looks beautiful! And the crew was mindful of our neighbors’ lawn and our landscaping which we also appreciated.”
