Now booking for Spring 2025! Get your community’s lakeshore restoration scheduled today!
For clients who have an immediate need and wish to have their lakes restored on a budget, we offer the Shore Restore System which essentially brings your shoreline back to its original slope and appearance. It requires no local or state permits and its components are designed to outlast the original shoreline. In areas with heavy, concentrated flow from lot lines or common areas, we have solutions that will work in conjunction with this system to ensure the longest erosion control possible.
This system is typically less expensive than the competitors’ geosynthetic systems also typically lasts just as long if proper lawn care and lake maintenance is in place.
This system can be installed faster than any others- meaning less inconvenience to your community and residents.
No permits needed- saving thousands or tens of thousands of dollars on engineering and permitting.
Addresses your escarpment (drop-off) at the top of your shoreline and your lake bank slope- which are highly regulated by the South Florida Water Management District and must be kept within code.
WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Each component of our Shore Restore System features advanced technology developed alongside civil engineers ensuring optimal hydrogeological function. Our system is made with a proprietary imported blend, specialized Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM), and pre-treated sod that root faster and holds tighter. Our erosion experts rate each section of shoreline and include additional erosion control measures for problem areas to help provide the longest erosion control possible.
Unlike geo-“trash bags”, geo-synthetic materials, Geoweb® 3D, and Dredgesox®, our Shore Restore System does not contain any synthetic materials. This means, if any erosion were to occur down the line, you are not left with dangerous drop-offs and an unsightly plastic bag that needs to be pulled out and taken to the dump. Our system lasts as long, or longer than these other synthetic systems and also allows for plant colonization and bird nesting!
Our Shore Restore System is an all-organic system so there is no poly matting, cables, anchors, or other components to rust or degrade in a few short years and become exposed, ugly, and dangerous.
THE NOT SO GOOD
Above picture: failed geotube on a freshwater lake in north Naples, FL. The tube had to be removed with an excavator and hauled to the dump.
Above picture: Geoweb® 3D failing on a shoreline in Fort Myers, FL

Above picture: geosynthetic materials, or as we call them geo-“trash bags”, exposed on a shoreline in Estero, FL. These are made up of polyethylene and polypropylene and both are equally as bad. This shoreline has enough of a drop-off that that it is now out of compliance with South Florida Water Management District!
